When is it time for hospice?

It’s time for hospice when a patient with a life-limiting illness has a prognosis of six months or less to live if the disease follows its usual course, and when the focus shifts from curative treatment to comfort care.

What insurance do you accept?

We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance plans. Coverage typically includes hospice services, medications, medical equipment, and supplies related to the terminal illness.

What is the process after we sign up with Azorna Healthcare?

After signing up, our team conducts an initial assessment to create a personalized care plan. We coordinate with your primary physician, provide necessary medical equipment and medications, and assign a dedicated care team to support you and your family.

Do you offer grief support?

Yes, we offer comprehensive grief support and bereavement services to help families cope with the emotional challenges following the loss of a loved one.

Who is eligible for hospice?

Patients with a life-limiting illness and a prognosis of six months or less, as certified by a physician, are eligible for hospice care.

Who is eligible for palliative care?

Patients with serious, chronic, or life-threatening illnesses at any stage of their disease can receive palliative care. It is not limited to those with a terminal prognosis.

Do you offer inpatient care or only in-home hospice?

We provide both in-home hospice care and inpatient care at our hospice facilities, depending on the patient’s needs and preferences.

Does hospice include 24/7 care?

Hospice care includes 24/7 on-call support to address any urgent needs or questions, ensuring continuous care and assistance.
