Jon Monks
President, Founder
Mr. Monks' career in healthcare spans long term care, non-emergent medical transporation, home health, hospice, and medical equipment. He has managed facilities in the Western United States. After working over 30 years in the healthcare industry, he recognized the need for a hospice that focused on the needs of the patient and family rather than corporate interest. Mr. Monks graduated from Brigham Young University.

Lisa Hunt, RN
Executive Director, Founder
Ms. Hunt was compelled to serve hospice patients after experiencing the death of her father who had hospice care. Her 35-year career has been centered around helping care for dying patients; in oncology, radiation oncology and in-home hospice. She is a passionate advocate for hospice care and serves today as the Executive Director of Azorna Hospice.

Vincent Mirizio
Dir. of Business Development, Founder
Mr. Mirizio has been an active leader, business developer, and advocate in the Valley for many years. In the hospice industry he has served as the Development Director for various hospice agencies. He also helped co-found a hospice in Arizona. Mr. Mirizio is an active member in the Tempe Diablos, the Tostitios Fiesta Bowl, Desert Cancer Foundation, and others. Vinny learned early in life "if you take from the community you must give back."

Michael Hunt
Chief Human Resources Officer, Founder
Mr. Hunt's interest in hospice began at a young age, starting as a volunteer for VistaCare. Over the years he gained valuable experience working in various roles in the hospice industry. His passion for providing compassionate care and his entrepreneurial spirit led him to realize his dream of founding his own hospice company in 2019. After selling in 2022, Mr. Hunt joined Azorna where he continues to be actively involved in providing exceptional care.

Sean Glenn
Dir. of Physician Services, Founder
Mr. Glenn serves as the administrator of Mayo Clinic Hospital and the administrative leader for Mayo's overall clinical practice in Arizona. He has overseen significant expansion of Mayo Clinic in Arizona and has been a leader in creating new ways of interfacing with patients in the rapidly changing healthcare industry. He received his bachelor's degree from Bringham Young University and his MBA and MHSA degrees from the University of Michigan. Sean is passionate about supporting clinical excellence and putting the needs of patients "first."
